and that's why I asked cause last year the first drive I tried did the same thing second one I tried worked fine

the good news is I switched servers and when I went back my recordings were still going

take it out and see if it still runs hot

one recording while watching = 2 two recordings while watching one = 3 three recordings while watching one = 4 but I can watch a channel other than the ones recording and it stays at 4 and freezing has improved greatly one button record is off

I had 2 recordings going and watched a different channel maybe I should push the envelope and add a download at same time if it worx I'll see if I can get the log from service

I figured out why it failed you need more than 2 connections with 2 connections you use both while recording the channel you're watching just tried a server with 4 connections and can do 2 recordings at same time it still causes freezing but recordings are flawless

did you install a drive in the bottom?

also when I was watching the channel I was recording it was freezing quite a bit but the recording is flawless

it's betas so if you don't get the updates it's users fault for not providing mac addy(that info is posted everywhere) and how do you expect a box that is in shrink wrap to be updated?lol
