  1. Thanks for that info. Would be nice if buzz had an auto feature that cleared app after a certain time, like say every 24 hours. Not sure if possible but.......whats impossible for the buzz team right?
  2. I have experienced this a couple times. On a previous version buzz box it happened alot but that was due to the batteries being drained in the remote, especially when the backlight is on. New batteries and backlight off goes along way in preserving the life of the battery. But on the 4900 my battery percentage is around 77% right now and the scrolling was out of control a couple times. I don't get that safe mode error, never seen that one.

  6. Go to apps, and clear app data for Buzz tv app. Enter your iptv info again and see what happens.

  8. Got update a couple days ago. Wifi was off by default, had to switch on Bluetooth to get back connected. Everything seems fine so far
  9. So let me ask...... Suppose your service provide does not have good EPG sources but you DO NOT know about it, but your buzz epg is haywire....... Who do you blame? Does Buzz provide epg sources? No. Does the buzz box grab whatever epg is available? Yes. Does a reseller know everything going on with a service provider? No. Maybe the reseller is just shrugging the user off? Maybe.

  12. But also said they can't see MACID. Macid is in server settings and you need that to sub to iptv, which allows you to see channels and epg. So if you can't see Macid how can get to the epg stage?

  15. Macid is shown in the top right hand corner of server settings. The only way to get to the epg is by loading iptv info in server settings, where you will need the Macid to give to your iptv provider to get service. So something isn't here. You don't see the Mac ID but you see epg page.
  16. OK, you said when I log into your service provider.... I assume you mean iptv service.... Then you turn on Vpn and get black screen and no video.....then you paused vpn and TV kicks in. First of all, always make sure vpn is connected before logging into TV service. Most importantly, some VPN locations/connections don't work with certain TV services. Try a different connection.... It can be within the same city/country, for instance if you choose New York which has tons of servers, try connecting to each one and connect to TV service to see if it works. When successful remember the server number you connected to so that going forward you won't have disconnected issues. Reminder: if you have VPN to autoconnect at startup..... and you put the buzz in standby or power off..... you won't get connection right away because in standby mode the buzz unit kills all apps...... and even though the unit is awake and has wifi connection the Nord app sometimes take a while to connect, sometimes you have to force stop app, sometimes that don't even work and you have rely on Devine intervention......... but if the buzz unit didn't kill the app in standby mode it would all be smooth sailing. Hope this helps.

    Take it easy bro, it's been long but will be worth it. For every update Buzz does something amazing but they don't take this long. That should give you an idea that something truly special will be in this pending update. I'm really looking forward to seeing posts from members airing their satisfaction.
  25. I actually got a trial from a guy with https and it didn't work. When I told him he had to do something on his end to make it work. I have no idea what he did but he asked if I was using a VPN, when I confirmed he tweaked something. But channel zapping was the fastest I've ever seen on a service.
