Because you are using two streams if you watch a channel while recording That is why you can't watch another channel You can go and use an app netflix YouTube etc You havnt posted any info on how you set up recording

If subtitles are not embedded in the stream you won't get them period

Some users are having issues the majority of users have had no issues. Beta users still had to load the same firmware
