  1. Is anyone having an issue with the range of the remote(BT-400) If have tried blue tooth on, blue tooth off. I am assuming that the "receiver" is on the same "pannel" as the on/off light. Although I am using ethernet, I left my antennas on, just incase. I am also assuming that the remote is infrared in operation.
  2. Thanks "nbs", worked great. TK
  3. How do you unlock the adult XXX channels? Is there a default code?
  4. I believe the "provider" "TimothyJ" mentioned uses it's own player.
  5. I thought that when you changed servers, that, only the one selected is active. When I change servers(pre latest update, haven't tried since) the "new selection" server pauses while list(s) are updated, downloaded. TK
  6. My 5.1 surround has worked from the start(my start) in July. TK
  7. I tried up/down/ left/ right I tried shift up/down/left/right I tried tap I tried shift tab I tried the left/right I tried shift left/right The only thing I haven't tried is the garbage can, soon. TK
  8. Probably a stupid, off subject question but, how do I get rid of the dropdown window on the top right of my screen? TK
  9. My Youtube now works with my ethernet connection with out rebooting. TK
  10. If I am recording a show, then decide to start watching it , say, half way through, would I need at least 2 connections to do this? TK
  11. Thank you "Emporium". I use an app that can run multiple play lists at the same time. I guess this entirely different. TK
  12. By , say , four connections, do you mean the same playlist from a supplier that allows multiple connections? Terry K
  13. Well I guess you are the lucky one, because I had to re-organize groups.
  14. The remote give you two options. Factory reset (big deal) Restart, which I did. Restart meant I had to re-organize all my groups Factory reset cleared everything. In my case a un-plug of the X5, wait 10 sec or so then plug the power back in may have cleared my "circle" issue. Restart did. TK
  15. I'm back. A weird thing happened last night on my X5. There was a continues circle( like a buffering circle) all night. The Live TV would play but the circle stayed. I rebooted the X5, using the remote(not factory reset) and all was well. Rebooting with the remote meant I had to re-organize all my groups!!! Probably disconnecting the power from the X5 MAY have accomplished the same thing but I'll never know.
  16. In case any one is interested I finally figured out how to go back on the "catch up" with TiviMate. I don't know if TiviMate info is allowed. TK
  17. Yup. You guys are right AGAIN. It is 30 days. I guess I was just excited that my TS started to work. No idea why.
  18. Yup. I already returned one about two months ago. I wanted to give the X5 an other shot. So I got this one. Buzz TV were real good at the return thing! TK
  19. Thank you "Emporium" for the "investigation" ! I originally thought that it may be my NEW X5. But, since your X5 is doing the same thing there would be no sense in me returning my X5 under warranty for a NEW one. I'll have to check to see if I am still with in the 15 day return policy. I would like to believe that "Buzz" would accept these issues as issues to be addressed and maybe extend the "15 day thing", if I decide to go that route! Pro's & con's, from my humble perspective; The X5 EPG is much superior to my TiviMate app. I like the lay out of the "home" screen. I like that the "favs" are on the "home screen" for all to see I like the ability to go back on a "catchup" channel to as far as the "catchup" goes. I have still not been able to do this with my TM app. Since my main reason for getting a X5 was to play & record live TV reliably , this is not for me(right now) I find the remote a bit of un-user friendly. RAISED buttons around the up, down, left & right would be a great thing. The "colored" buttons are hard to see, even with the back light on. TS is still a mystery to me since my 2 providers do not come up as TS candidate's for this option. Talking about pausing live TV. Pressing the "pause" button would be a nice option. I would like to thank every one for there support & input. Hopefully, to be continued. Terry Knapper
  20. Here we go. I bit the bullet and did a factory reset. After entering all my data things are exactly the same. Here is a few things I found out. 1st I DID toggle the CEC(TV) OFF. If I physically UNPLUG my TV, while watching X5, the X5 turns off and the X5 remote will NOT turn it back on. When I am watching X5, and I UNPLUG the HDMI cable from the X5 to the TV , the X5 turns off and the X5 remote will NOT turn it back on. The reason I am making such a big deal out of this is because I am getting unreliable recording. I mentioned this to "Mike". He figures it has to do with the X5 turning on and off during recording; especially when I record 2 or 3 shows, one after the other. I do not enter extended record time, figuring this may interfere with recording one show after another(live TV). TK
  21. Is there a CEC toggle on a TV like my LG TV. I thought you meant POWER ON/OFF. To be more specific, my LG TV is a UHD Nano cell Smart TV, 65 " I WILL try turning my TV ONN/OFF with the buttons on the TV. Keep in mind that my X5 remote DOES NOT turn on my X5. It may be time for a factory default reset, if there is an option for that. I will look at my TV to see if I have access to the CEC . Terry K p.s. I believe that my X5 remote NOT powering on my X5 is the first thing to clear up.
  22. When I use my "Harmony" remote to turn on the devices I associate with watching my X5 (I have not enabled my X5 as a device in the Harmony remote) the X5 turns on (if it was off). I have a total of four activities I can access with my H. remote. Turning on ANY of the activities turns on the X5. Turning off any of the activities turns off the X5. I figured I would use my LG TV remote to turn off the TV and leave the X5 on. Turning off the TV ALSO turned off the X5. When the X5 turns off(via H. remote or TV remote) it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to power off. With everything in this state, if I use my X5 remote to turn on the X5, it WON'T turn on. With every thing in the above state, the only way the X5 powers on is with my H. remote, OR, if I just take the TV remote to turn on my TV, the X5 turns on. Sorry for the short story. TK
