Wifi connection

I noticed after a restart, holding the power button down pressing on restart. After the boot up it will not reconnect to wifi. Go to wifi settings says, saved under your wifi connection. Need to press to reconnect.

do you have ethernet plugged in? if yes, then leave ethernet cable disconnect and try again.

if ethernet cable is not connected then try to forget network, reconnected and try same restart procedure and see if that helps.

Just curious.  If you do a "shutdown", and once it is off, you power if back on, does it do the same ?   

How long are you waiting after it is at the main screen ?  Sometimes it may take 30 seconds or so to initiate the connection process.

also, is it 2.4, 5G or combined network?

I have non steering on my wifi 

2.4 and 5G are separate
