**NEW** XRS 4000 Firmware + App Update - Dec 22nd, 2020 *UPDATE RESTARTED**

Update download keeps stopping. What happens if i go back and redo it?

I had the same issue launcher stopped and after trying almost everything short of a hard reset just pushing the live tv button on the remote got the launcher back working. Hope this helps

Update is crashing boxes. 3 of my people have had to reload box from hard reset. Buzz Launcher crash. 

Please disable updates

I did the upgrade no issue at all but only issue is I can't organized catagories on live channels and on vod.

2. Click Back button

Three times

3. Open Buzz utilities

4. Open Home Screen

5. Click on BuzzTV Modern

6. Click Home button

 

Should be fixed.

I have the same “launcher keeps stopping”. I am unable to get to home page or anywhere other than: app info, server settings or menu. Menu offers me no options to get to home or utilities. Frustrating indeed. ANY IDEAS ANYONE?

Did a hard reset on my XRS4000 it's telling me I have the latest update...V20200615...how do we update this thing

Well now that I did a hard reset my channel list wont load from my provider, when we firing the updates back up I cant watch TV ?

if you did not take the update nothing has changed

Check to make sure server info is correct

Will be fixed on Version # 4.0.494 when we resume the update again.

I ended up with a hard reset. Not sure if all this bumping around changed the MAC address on the 4000 but gave what appears to be a new one to by service. Will see if it works. Thanks for your help which I did try.

The Server ID # listed in Server Settings
The last 6 digits matches the same last 6 digits of the MAC address found on the bottom of your unit.

Setting up a new BuzzTV XR4000. Setup stops at Checking for updates, Goes to 1%, restarts and get stuck in Checking for updates, please wait.. with no progress. Anyway to skip it or try a different way to update ? Tried hard shutdown but still back to the same screen.
