Enabling closed caption

Hello, 

New user to the buzztv4000 model. 

I've enabled on display closed caption on the main settings menu  however whenever I try to 'turn on' closed captions via the menu that pops up on either livetv/vod the captions are automatically disabled and are unable to be enabled. 

I've tried googling this issue and nothing seems to be helping.  This happens on every single thing I try to watch. 

Am I doing something wrong?

secondly does the service/stream support cc?

Yes I've tried all buttons, up, side,side, and okay.  Would a server be completely without cc?

Apologies thought this was the forum to ask questions. 

I dont know if the stream supports cc? Is there a way to tell?

my cc isnt working either

When i hit the left arrow it does show disabled and an option underneath but that doesnt work

I still dont know what you mean by closed caption in main menu??

just press green button

Nothing is working on my end. I suppose it's the server? I didnt set it up a 3rd party did so perhaps it's a set up issue...

just join this forum. I also have this "issue". i cant enable the Close Captioning. Also i have one channel that suddenly lost sound. When i checked the audio for that channel was disabled.  i cant enable it

I had that issue and the sound was down on the service

other channels have sound. its this one channel...for some reason the audio was disabled. tried pressing the ok button (to toggle to enable or remove the checkmark) but nothing happens

did you try other player?

if its a service issue it will show audio is disabled and you wont be able to toggle it
