4900 buzz remote not powering up device

Any one else knows  how to get the xrs 4900 remote to put on the device from an off position ?

does light blink on remote when you press power button? 

go to settings, remote and accessories, do you see remote in the list and does it says connected? if not try to connect 

or

go to settings, buzz utilities, power options, default

press the stb button

Already  like this . The  issue I feel is with the  firmware upgrade

my 4900 turns off and on using stb button running 5.0.783
