My Buzz 3000 4K unit is not updating new software / Firmware update since last year. It will keep popping on screen but it will not update. Can someone help on how to fix the issues?

To fix this issue, follow these steps, 

1. Go to Settings

2. More settings

3. Apps

4. Select Chrome Browser

5. Clear data

6. Press back till you are on main screen

7. Select Live / Press Menu key on your Keyboard

8. Select Update

9. Accept update it should take less then 30 seconds 

If update still not working then follow last steps.

1. From Main Screen Select Settings

2. Select More..

3. Scroll to Reset

4. Follow the prompts, (( Warning : all your data will be lost ))

5. Once your box is totally factory reset then select Live and Press Menu and select Update.

it should be working.

go to live tv hit menu and post the version info at bottom

you are correct on both places you will lose your URL, so you need to write it down.

A lot of times this is caused because your box no longer has enough internal memory.

While in Live TV, we suggest you press the menu button
Then go to PVR and make sure you have no recordings taking up internal storage space.

Recordings can take up 1GB per hour of recording, and the boxes internal memory is less then 5GB after apps + Android OS.
If the box has no internal memory left, then it cannot take updates.

I have the same issue. I have 3000 xpl  with 2G and I am still on buzz tv 2 app ver 1.6(86). My Android is ver 6.0.1. 
I tried factory reset and tried pressing update from menu but nothing helps. My setting is set to automatic update.

You need to go to aptoid tv,do a search for buzz tv

After search hit the see more Look for buzz 2 Install it After its installed you will get anther update

Thanks nbs. It worked like charm. I am on now ver 2.0(352). Is there any reason I should also get android updated to ver 7?

Reports are 6 worked better anyway

as per your suggestion, I have tried this - go to aptoid tv,do a search for buzz tv, search hit More. But there is no buzz tv app appears there.

Please help.

 

my Issue: all the episodes are in chronological order, if I am watching an episode in VOD, the next episode comes is the previous episode.

The  updates server has surely been decommisioned a while back.  This is a pretty old box. You revived a nearly 5 year old thread

To get to the latest software for the xpl3000, download the following apk, put it on a USB stick and then use the file manager on the device to install it.

Credits to nbs, for posting it on another forum a while back (so I don't need to reupload it anywhere) :)

However, if it still does not behave the way you expect/want it, don't expect an updates.  This box has been out of support for quite a while now, and it runs BuzzTV 2.
