On my Buzz XRS 4500, When I select live tv to watch some television the loading channel list screen takes way too long. Is there anything to do to fix this. When I had the normal Buzz 4 it went by fast but ever since I upgraded  to  Buzz 5 Beta it has been taking really long  and has been frustrating. Can you guys please respond with some help.

clear cache and try to kill all the apps running in background

Try this; When in LiveTV, hit menu. At the bottom left you will see your firmware version, should be 5.0.705 or so. Go to settings/configuration/liveTV and select secondary player. Then scroll down and select boot to live TV. Go back to settings and select exit. This will re-start BuzzTV 5. Let me know if this helps.

Are you using XC login or MAC or M3U server?

Buzz 5 downloads the channel + epg + vod + tv series lists when it connects to the server of XC login
As that is how XC login was designed to work

 

Buzz 4 does it differently, but XC Login would kick users off for too many requests when loading EPG and channel lists etc
So we changed the APIs to work the way XC login is designed to do.

 

You can stay connected to the server for weeks at a time if you want, that way it doesn't have to load the server each time.
