Thomas Malone Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago I am migrating my extended family from the Fire TV ecosystem and I am looking for a remote control somewhat analogous to the 16-button Fire TV remote, with perhaps an added feature or two, but definitely a far more simple remote than the basic 38-button remote that Buzz currently offers. So I would like to suggest to the devs an invitation to consider releasing a very basic remote that might work well for new users transitioning from Fire TVs or for senior citizens who do not play well with a remote that has too many buttons. Also, following the example of some alternative Android boxes, perhaps some new remote model could include a find my remote feature triggered by a USB mic (another hardware accessory suggestion, BTW) and also doubling the amount of hot keys from 4 to 8 by incorporating a long press function for these keys (this last suggestion could of course also be part of a software update to existing Buzz remotes that have hot keys.) In the meantime, can anybody suggest: 1. A very simple third-party voice remote that works well with the Power Station? 2. A third-party USB mic that works well for hands-free far-field control of the Power Station and TV? Thank you Quote
Emporium Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago (edited) Here is the Buzz 38 button remote. BuzzTV G20 Voice Remote – BuzzTV Direct However being a Google remote, I am pretty sure there are quite a few restrictions on what they can or can't do with this remote in terms of changes.
