Ryu Posted Saturday at 11:37 PM Posted Saturday at 11:37 PM did you try a different ethernet cable and ethernet port behind your router? Quote
Bel Ma Posted Saturday at 11:41 PM Author Posted Saturday at 11:41 PM oui et je sait que ma connection internet n est pas defectueuse Quote
Ryu Posted Sunday at 12:49 AM Posted Sunday at 12:49 AM try to create hotspot from your phone and see if that works or take to your neighbor or relative for testing only. if still not working then I guess you can hard reset but chances you won't even make it to home screen regardless you don't have internet working so worth it try. do it on your risk. different box but same procedure Quote

Obviously since your computer works, your internet connection is fine. BUT, it may not be your X5 with the defective ethernet port. It may be your cable which is defective, or maybe even the port on your switch/router which your X5 is connected to. Have you tried power cycling your network switch to ensure it is not partitioning out the port if it potentially detected something odd on the other end. It would not be the first time that I have had a network switch decide to shutdown some ports and eventually fail completely. Now, everything in my home, including all my buzz boxes, are connected through a UPS. I have at least 10 in the house and every 5 or 6 years I really hate that battery bill But at least all my equipment is protected from brown outs (which are worse) and surges. Quote
Bel Ma Posted Sunday at 02:28 AM Author Posted Sunday at 02:28 AM ce que je peut dire c est que j ai un autre buzz tv soit le x5 ss, et que lui il y a internet mais pas le x5 Quote
Emporium Posted Sunday at 02:42 AM Posted Sunday at 02:42 AM X5 SS connected to the SAME location and cable as your X5 ? Swapped positions ? At least if you swap locations of the boxes you will be able to tell if the issue follows the BOX, or if the issue follows the connection location. If it follows the box, then use the backup/restore function of BuzzTV 5 to backup your servers and favorites to a USB stick. Then try a hard reset as recommended by Ryu above. Quote
Bel Ma Posted Sunday at 03:05 PM Author Posted Sunday at 03:05 PM Que veut tu dire par sauvegarde/restauration de BuzzTV 5 pour sauvegarder vos serveurs et vos favoris sur une clé USB ou c est ca Quote
Ryu Posted Sunday at 06:55 PM Posted Sunday at 06:55 PM if you have saved your favorite list in buzztv app and you don't won't to recreate your favorite list and type all the server info again after the reset then you make a backup of your server from buzztv app into external usb devices. open up buzz tv app, press menu, settings, configurations, backup/restore then follow on screen instructions. if you don't care about it then proceed to reset process on your own risk. 1 Quote

Quote
