Nick Posted Saturday at 09:06 PM Posted Saturday at 09:06 PM Hi all, I’m having a PVR issues on my Classic Anniversary Edition and wondering if anyone has come across this issue and has a solution or can point me to right direction. Device: Model: BuzzTV Classic Anniversary Edition Firmware: V20250412 BuzzTV-5 App: v5.0.946 Storage: Internal shared storage only (54 GB free), no external attached MAC provider Tried with a public m3u list as well Issue: Recordings can be scheduled and appear in the PVR schedule list. Also enabled one touch recording but same result. When the recording time comes, no actual file is saved, nothing appears in the recordings list and nothing in storage. Plenty of space available (54 GB free), also tried with an external usb, and reformatted another one and configured it as part of the internal storage. Same issue. I have a X5 SS as well and it seems to be functioning fine there. I also thought it was a server/provider issue but I tried a public m3u list that should have no blocks and it still did not work. I have tried the following: Cleared cache/data for BuzzTV Live TV app. Rebooted and power-cycled the box. Tested with both my MAC provider and a public, DRM free list. Tried instant recording and scheduled recording. Result: Scheduling works but PVR never writes a file. Questions: Is this a known bug in V20250412? Has anyone found a workaround? Should I try another player? Thanks for any insight and apologies if its been posted somewhere, I can delete and repost in the correct thread. Quote
Ryu Posted Saturday at 10:00 PM Posted Saturday at 10:00 PM while watching live tv press menu, then PVR, then PVR options, and see what's your recording storage location? Quote
Ryu Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM Posted Saturday at 10:02 PM also, from Home Screen go to settings, Apps, click on Buzz Tv 5, then scroll down to permissions, and make sure you allow for files. Quote
Nick Posted Saturday at 10:50 PM Author Posted Saturday at 10:50 PM For storage location, it says internal shared storage. When I clock on it, all it shows is one option "Internal shared storage" and the permission for files is allowed. I was trying to select a specific path for the recordings but see no way to select an actual folder. Quote
Ryu Posted Saturday at 10:59 PM Posted Saturday at 10:59 PM I guess factory reset your box then try again and see if that helps. Quote
nbs. Posted Saturday at 11:25 PM Posted Saturday at 11:25 PM You either record to internal and it will use default location or set up external on a usb or micro sd Quote
Nick Posted Saturday at 11:57 PM Author Posted Saturday at 11:57 PM How do I find the default location? It doesn't let me select a path. If I factory reset, will it give me the option to set a path/select a location? Quote
