This is a PowerStation 6 with 1T ext. storage. So I’m watching tv and all of a sudden I get this screen (attached). When I click on “retry” it re-boots, shows the Home Screen for a few seconds then goes into a loop of about 4 cycles then stops at the original error screen. I didn’t want to do the factory reset until I checked here to see if anyone else is having this problem, and what fixes may be available.

Are you saying that I can’t use the external storage? I use the nvme storage for apps and recordings. I don’t mind removing it temporarily, but not really as a long term solution.

Try removing it temporarily and see what happens.

And you are using it for apps ?  So you formatted it as internal storage ?  If you did manage to format as internal storage then that is a big mistake.  You should always format as portable storage, and using it for recording and other media is fine.  But if you use it for "apps" then as soon as there is any corruption on your unit (which can happen), you will be stuck resetting it completely all the time.

Emporium, I installed the portable drive as external so I can use the internal primarily for apps and the external for recordings etc. I’ll remove it and see if that’s the problem. Thanks

Glad it is back up.  Something obviously got corrupted.  Unfortunately if it is not something we can replicate, so it is hard to "correct" the unknown.

If it happens again, I would consider temporarily leaving the nvme out of the box for a while, to see if it is potentially the source of the issue.  Not all nvme drives are created equal.
