Hello,

 

I recently purchased 2 BT-350 remotes for my Buzz TV classic boxes. For some reason when you click the microphone button it doesn't do voice search. Instead it loads the search section. If you click the search button it doesn't search or do anything. Any ideas?

it's for apps and you hold it and speak

Yeah I understand that but for some reason instead of doing a voice search in an app it opens up the regular channel search screen when you have IPTV channels loaded. It's very odd. You then only have the option to type. I do understand how a voice remote works. I'm wondering if it's a big with the newest update.

You say bug with latest update.  Did it ever work ?

Don't forget, the Classic never came with Voice search remote, and probably no capabilities for it either.  Just because you add a voice remote, does not suddenly give the box voice capabilities.

it only worx with apps from home screen not live tv etc

mic doesn't work on buzztv 5 app

worx fine with aptoide,google,youtube and etc

it's the same for all models right now

when in an app and using search you have to hilite the mic symbol

the remote worx for the classic,the x5's,the u5 and the newer models

from a facebook user

Purchased system was told I get a deal after I purchased 1 month and system. Once I receive box the expiry on subscription was over 4 days before I even purchased,  how is that even possible.. I believe I was scammed by the seller who sold me the box ie and subscription,  glad I didn't pay for the year as I'm already out just under 300$ for something can't use. Tried messaging , calling etc and got no response 4 2 days now, just took my funds and left me with nothing..

This has nothing to do with buzz as they do not sell or discuss third party servers

Buzz sells hardware only.  They do NOT sell services.  If you bought the box with a promise of service, you got scammed, consider it a lesson, and move on 🙂

You will need to visit a different forum to find another service, since this forum does not discuss services.

If you paid more than you would have from the web site below, then you obviously overpaid.  And with current holiday promo, the prices are pretty good.

It's called "crooks".  I've seen it locally also, with some of the asking prices by bundling everything together and getting clueless customers to fall for it.

I personally don't even want to sell people a box.  I give them the link to buzztvglobal, tell them what they should buy and then I set them up with a service.

The remote manufacturer made the key code for search and mic the same

So were waiting on them to provide us a software update for the remote to fix the issue
