jellytotz Posted December 6 Posted December 6 Looking to get a reasonably-priced buzz box. I noticed that most Buzz boxes include either 2 GB or 4 GB of RAM. Does 4 GB make a lot of difference in terms of box performance? The box would mostly be used for watching subscription service. Maybe will stream some Kodi too. Quote
Emporium Posted December 7 Posted December 7 If you are planning to use Kodi, stick with 4GB. Just using the Buzz app for IPTV, either one is fine. In my opinion, the best bang for the buck is "The Classic". It's the one I always recommend to family and friends. Not the most expensive box, yet it has the same CPU as the X5 and U5 devices. But obviously, it all depends on your budget. With the current sale on the Buzztv web site, it is the perfect opportunity. Keep in mind the sale finished on the 9th I believe. 2 Quote
Ryu Posted December 7 Posted December 7 plus if server is big and no categories filtering options then would be better to get 4gb. Quote

But regardless, it's a touch more than we wanted to spend; do you have a recommendation for a box that's a step down? Quote

Emporium Posted December 11 Posted December 11 And the E5 is a step up from the B5, which is pretty nice also With the sale, the Classic was pretty much the same price as the E5. I'm sure they'll have an xmas or boxing day sale if you can wait. 1 Quote
