Is the screen saver operational on P6, because I can not get mine to come on?

Just tried in buzztv 5 and saver did not come on, the only way to get screen saver on is in settings and hit start now option and saver will work?

for screen saver I set it to 5 minutes and picked backdrop

left it on home screen and after 5 minutes it started

Screen saver

Yes i know where that is, but it does not come on after a 5 min setting in buzztv 6 or 5, only time i can get to work is start now setting in screen saver, I also found the bg setting, which for an old guy who didn't know that stands for back ground, in buzztv5. So my question is will screen saver work on buzztv6? Thank you for your patience.

after setting up screen saver are you staying on home screen?

yes i do not change home screen, just wondering why screen saver does not work on device, whether on home screen 5 or 6 or Tivimate or sparkletv, stremio when paused for more than 10 min?

If you are in an APP, it will NOT trigger the screen saver.

You NEED to be on the HOME screen...

On BuzzTV 5, there is an option to "Auto Shut off App".  I have it set to 2hrs, and then once the app exits, it will drop you to home screen.  And then when the inactivity kicks in the screen saver will come on.

If you are in an APP, it assumes you are active, so no screen saver.

screen saver is for preventing the thumbnail images from burning into the screen

Sorry does not come on either colors or backdrop, in screen saver options.

We need to fix it and send an update
