Screen saver not working when pausing live tv

I am using a xrs4500 box and the screen saver kicks in when I'm on the home screen but never activates when I'm watching live TV or vod.

I often need to pause live TV or a movie, sometimes for a long time while I handle a phone call but the screen stays active while paused.

Any thoughts on this?

actually if I remember correctly it only worx on home screen

Sorry, I have it set to 5 minutes.

it may have got overlooked in an update

I'm positive it will get resolved in a few weeks

the devs are busy with android 13 and buzztv 6 right now

I never noticed because I haven't used screen saver in over 2 years so who knows when it stopped working

My Samsung TV kicks in screen saver after 2 hours, so not very useful

my skyworth screen saver setting starts at 1 minute if I want

When apps are active 

The screen saver won't work. 

That's even if you paused something. 

Sorry but we have no plans to change this.
