Additional SSD format as internal - network share

I understand the drawbacks with formatting a drive as internal. 

But, if I were to add a SSD drive, format as internal, would this entire drive be network sharable as the internal memory would be?

I never tried that but I think it should.

Not sure however that you will be able to distinguish what is internal and what is your SSD, and what goes where.  And you will not be able to eject it and plug it into a PC to copy anything off of it.
