PnkFld
Just received my new X5 64AX-C but can only get stereo audio out of it. I've connected it to my new Denon receiver with both HDMI and digital optical cables but no matter the program source, I only get stereo audio. Is the X5 capable of outputting 5.1 or better sound? Thanks.

Thanks. Is the audio source your streaming in 5.1 or 7.1 audio? If so, passthrough works no problem via HDMI or Optical Cable. Most IPTV is only in 2.0/stereo audio though You can check this by pressing the Green button on Live or VOD/TV Series and looking at the Audio Track.
PnkFld
Quote Most IPTV is only in 2.0/stereo audio though Yep, apparently that was the issue. I tried multiple different movie and IPTV streams that I assumed were outputting 5.1 but was mistaken. I finally found an actual surround sound source and the X5 passed it with no problem. Thank you for the reply!
