when you set reminder to watch a program 2 hrs later,  and when the time comes ,you get message  " Press OK to watch.........."

you press ''ok '' and it dose not get to that channel

Worst part is you don't remember what was the channel set for

when you press ok does that pop up message goes away? try to remove batteries for 1 minute and try again an see if that helps or try to pair again if you are using via Bluetooth.

if you trying via bluetooth than turn off bluetooth mode and try  via IR.

The ok button must work or he would not be able to set up the reminder.

Since it doesn't work with any of his remotes it's a software issue

A reset might fix it

im sure ok button is working fine but only thing might be when that reminder message pops up maybe on that stage ok command does not work with new remote control but does work fine with old remote controls. its weird if it does that but I think you are right must be software related. 🙂

Hey, unpairing is working

What pairing is use for?

am I loosing something when it's unpaired?

what i'm gaining if it is paired?

you can point remote anywhere and it will work

and you can check battery level
