mac ban started over 20 years ago it's an addon/hack that can be added same as finding real ip...over 20 years implemented move along n00b

they're on but the tv it's hooked up doesn't support cec so it doesn't make a difference earlier today my remote wasn't responding properly so I unpaired and paired it again and remote works fine

try with it off and see if there's a difference

I'm using 5.0.783 and have no issues powering off/on with STB button

then turn cec off

if your tv supports CEC you press the tv power button

which power button are you pressing?

what are your CEC settings?
