are you sure drive is seated properly?
-
eject the drive
unplug and plug back in
and format as removable drive
don't forget to go into pvr options and select that drive for what you want
mine is listed as android in both my u5 and 4900
-
format as removable storage

Hi. Thank you for the feedback. I have done so to no avail. I’ve replaced the HDD with another HDD to discard the possibility of a defective HDD. NOT! Weird thing is, once I formatted the new drive (multiple times), I could not transfer data to it. After that, a new “Android” drive shows under “Storage”, and after several attempts to do so, I now see several identical HDDs listed, besides the original one, but all say “Disconnected”.
What gives? I think the BIOS needs rework. This is so disappointing!I see 2 usb's not connected and 3 others listed that are connected (only have 3)
how did you format drive and what did you select?

If the streams are in HLS, they cannot be downloaded.
So maybe they changed streams recently to HLS.Or if you're using XC login, maybe you have the stream type set to HLS.
all streams are ts
and I have ts set
also had no issue until I took updates on x5 and 4900

it turns red in suspend mode as well

try with it on to see it corrects wifi
then you should be able to turn it off
-
You'll have to open a ticket then

so 9 months in to my xrs4500 with buzzTV 5 the other day the picture froze then went completely DEAD...remote won't turn unit off as it's stuck in the "on" mode with a Black screen....
tried unplugging and re-connecting power several times...no bueno,
unplugged all wiring hooked up,let it sit overnight re-attached HDMI,LAN and Power...still no bueno,
replaced HDMI cable with TWO different cables that i KNOW work....still no bueno...
last thing i tried was a "hard" reset to see if it would put into boot mode...still...no bueno....
is there ANYTHING else i can try to get it to work before i submit an RMA to buzzTV and send it back???....what option did you select in android recovery screen?
