each button press is not an hour it goes to the previous program whether it was 17 minutes ago or hour or whenever it started so without epg how would it know where to catch up?

you can get a mini keyboard for about $10-$15 it has a mouse pad

maybe that's the problem is that you're not using buzztv 4
