  1. @nbs Yep, i was stuck exactly like this. But luckily i have the VOD favorites (Turned ON). So on the home screen i was able to see VOD movies which i added to favorites. And from there (hitting buttons randomly) i opened the list of categories and noticed all them where unchecked (hidden). Lesson learned, never leave there next to my baby. But those colors attract him way too much

  4. Hey Guys @Ryu gave me an idea to delete the portal server and add it again. I'll give it a shot, only thing worries me that usually when i do factory resets. My box MAC address gives issues (Wrong user/password errors). That's when i have to begg my IPTV provider to reset my MAC address . Something like delete MAC and Re-Add the MAC on their servers. Sorry i created a new thread regarding my issue before i stumbled across this active thread. Experts, let me know if that theard need to be deleted ? Or leave it there if any other users are encountering similar issue like me
  5. @ Ryu , Thank Buddy. i did the power cycle restarts few times already but haven't try the server (delete / add) step yet. I'll give it shot tomorrow if it doesn't fixed by itself. For some odd reason, when i factory reset my MAC acts Wakoo (weird) and i have begg my IPTV provider to reset my MAC. Loosing some times half day of being online and kids drive me crazy when this happens. i'll give it a shot because now i know this is isolated issue only to my case so far.
  6. Yep, Did that , Red Button (Organize Categories / View Categories). Odd thing is that If i click on search i can type the name of the movie and it searches for that movie. It's weird why all the movies (thumbnails = pictures) just disappear after App update (5.0.778) Is there any other way to find if all the categories are hidden. I can hide international categories (Visible / hide) but now its not working.
  7. I lost VOD listings, right now it shows empty. Not sure if others are experiencing this but this kind of issue 1st time where the entire VOD is empty. Checked with IPTV provider and the issue is not from the server. See the pictures (below) and Please advise.
  8. Team, What happened with the latest update ? - Lost VOD listing - Blank screen and IPTV provided mentioned that it's fine on their side. Has anyone else having similar issue ?

" If you read more you would see that my answer was correct yet he insults me I'd ask him the question again Some people become Karen/Ken and want to take their frustration out. That's why i asked, if you guys are actual tech support team. But you guys are wingmen/women who take care of each other. Don't need to explain yourself buddy
  10. All you guys are cool and really helpful. BuzzTV is a great box but in recent after TV app update to Buzz 5 things have become haywire. It's hard to explain my IPTV provider who tell me that the problem is on my side. Confusion is that All was good before the update (new Buzz 5 App). And now there some hiccups, so developers probably broke something while launching the new App. Love the new UI of the App, just sad of the hiccups happening.

  12. Thanks, Funny, i have this feature already off right now and still getting the freezing. Thinking about to activate it and use external (microSD) card to use as buffer. How's everyones experience with this and any tips or tricks ?

In the evening are peak watching hours for a lot of servers If this is what's happening to you, sounds more like a server related issue You could have full 1GB internet and it still wouldn't help if the server you're using is having issues with too many users at one time and not being able to maintain it. Which in turn causes issues with freezing and glitching. @allaboutbuzz What about BuzzTV app crashing ? I couldn't figure out why my app randomly becomes unresponsive and crashes. Only work around is to restart the IPTV box (not suspend). {I love this feature on latest buzz, my friend has 3000 series and he has to unplug every time}. These Random Buzz TV App crashes making didn't fix even after factory reset. So now it makes me worried if my XR4000 is going bad ?
  15. Hey, that's a great advice. In XR4000 you can't change the MAC address (Option removed) .This option was valid in 3000's Models, because my friend has that older box and he can do it. For me, no option to change MAC on XR4000. My service is based on the MAC Address which i love it but random lagg and freezing on all channels and VOD doesn't make sense. I'll tell my service provider to check my MAC not used twice.
  16. Downloaded analiti and ran the test, where i'm connected hardwired on ethernet cable. Getting 97(Download) and 96(upload) speed, the bottle neck is my XR4000 with 100Mbps (NIC) network card
  17. Do you still have trouble on XR4000 ? I can't narrow down if the device is going bad. Because for some odd reason during some hours in evenings its glitching too much. LiveTV and VOD
  18. Agree to disagree, I get this error while have i'm watching live TV randomly. Flip other channels, same issue untill i power down and restart the Box. Seems like BuzzTV 5 app with improvements has become an overkill for XR4000 models
  19. Well Team, Just got a new Buzz TV App update = Ver 5.0.777 (updated 10/14/22) Hope this one is stays OK with no issues
  20. TS = Time Sync ? No sure where it is, and believe it's not "ON" b/c i did a factory reset so it wiped out all the settings. I have 128GB MicroSD but it's not setup for any PVR recording yet
  21. Mine were automatically updated, so i don't have any control for manually update them. Are you also using XR-4000 ?

Team, Buzz TV 5 app was working great before but now it's just constant issues (listed below by priority) - Random Freeze and then App Crashes (High - Multiple times in a Day) - Cannot Decode Stream (VOD / LIVE TV - High). Sol: restart the IPTV box and than it works fine. Never had this before on previous versions, - Random LIVE TV channel don't work (Medium ). No matter how many times i restart it. - Random Buffering / Lagging (VOD & LIVE TV) = Even connected hardwired to the box and getting speed of 70~98 Mbps. Some time works fine no issues, but other time too much lag. The reason i'm asking these questions because i have tried all the possible resolutions such as, power reset multiple times a day (not suspend). Factory Reset twice, which makes annoying difficult to get connect back to the portal because it gives Invalid Userid/Pass error. Have to beg my provider to reset the MAC AND I HATE DOING THIS FACTORY RESET BECAUSE IT DOESN'T SOLVE THE APP ISSUE (buzz TV app random crash). Apparently, i'm reading this similar issues happening to new models too. So the BuzzTV app needs to be fixed. When is the newer version coming out ?
  23. Genius doesn't know the limitation is on the BuzzTV box (10/100) Ethernet port. Here's the Screenshot of the specs (below). No wonder he is still working an Admin job. BuzzTV trys to upscale content to 4K killing the buffer on that old school 10/100 Ethernet. Seems like now time to upgrade my Buzz to XRS or X5 model
  24. I have the Notification Tab (on-display) so i can close any extra background running apps. And Clearing the Cache is not needed when i just did a whole factory reset. It deleted all the content and i did the setup and activated my service (renewed) No matter how many times i restart the box (even unplug power cord). Channels or VOD keeps freezing , or some times the BUZZ TV app crashes all by itself. I have tested Primary and Backup Player Decoders for LiveTV & VOD. The recent update *.775. The backup decoders are not working so i have to switch back to Primary player Getting super frustrated now.
