  1. True, but it can still be damaged/defect (it happens). And was never mentioned that they were actually using the original cable which came with the Powerstation. Worth trying another one.
  2. Maybe some keyword it flags that happens to be in some URL or channel description. I have at least 6 different playlists on pastebin and no issues with any of them.
  3. Maybe try to change to a better quality HDMI cable ? If it is not HDMI 2.1 compliant, bandwidth would be restricted as aab mentioned above. It would be fine in lower resolutions, but not possibly not in 4k.
  4. In the meantime, you can always create a free "pastebin" account and create an unlisted text file and put your m3u there. And then point to the "raw" destination. That is exactly what I do to manage my mom's M3U list. And for me it is also convenient, since I can just add or remove things on the list from my place, mom does a refresh and she get's the new entries It's simple, free and it works quite well.
  5. Wow.. Reviving nearly 3yr old threads..
  6. Didn't get it on your X5 That's an update to your TV firmware. From the looks of the message, it is pretty much similar to what my mom had. Probably a Hisense or Haier TV if I had to guess ? If you have internet connected to your TV, it also looks for updates. Got a similar message a few months ago on my mom's TV and it confused me as she tried to explain what she was seeing. And only when I went over, did I realize it was not the box, it was the TV. I just disconnected her TV from the internet, since she has no use for that anyhow.
  7. Did you do a hard reset (pin method) or soft reset (from menus) ? Try the hard reset.
  8. And on the L1 it is BuzzTV 6 Lite, since some feature are not available due to the budget nature of the L1.
  9. The link to the HDMI to AV converter I provided is from amazon CANADA. And probably a nicer solution that the A/V cable which has piles of different varieties out there. Many of us are from Canada (hence by default I provided . For CAD$16, it would solve your 2+yr old thread Or if you just want to extract the audio, you could just use a digital to optical converter https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CZN4MJ6B or an HDMI audio extractor www.amazon.ca/dp/B0DSVST2ZD All options are pretty cheap.
  10. Same E1 box. WHAT theme launcher did you switch to which forced you to reset ? I never had any issue with Buetooth on it either. I'll check again tonight to see if there was any update since my last check that may have broken it.
  11. Firmware v20220919 is the latest and current IPTV version is v5.0.946. So you are running the latest. I would not expect any more firmware updates since no new OS related features will be added. But IPTV software still gets the occasional bug fixes every now and then (like all 4 and 5 series boxes).
  12. No offence, and I am glad you find a workaround. But honestly, why is it such a "very important function". I have NEVER had to take a screenshot of any of my buzz boxes. Have no clue why you would need to, other than occasionally maybe having to send a screen snapshot to BuzzTV for reporting bugs. And in those cases, a quick snapshot with phone camera is sufficient. I do occasionally need to capture a short video to provide small tutorials to some of my elderly friends, but I ended up just getting a small cheap USB video capture device from amazon for short video tutorials.
  13. And how are you supposed to protect yourself on errors like that ? It's not like you don't have the pinouts, and if seller said one thing and you got another, then that is not something you could have foreseen. Worst case, guess you can always just buy the required connectors and build your own cable. Or just spend a little bit more and get an HDMI to AV converter, and you can use it with any device. After all this time, I'd probably just get the converter. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0CZNPQ937

    Freezing

Keep in mind that 5Ghz may be faster, but it is more temperamental as you get further away from the router. 2.4Ghz may be slower (but usually plenty for most IPTV) but it is also more stable on longer ranges "IF you have properly selected the right channels to avoid congestion". It can sometimes be a bit of a trial an error before you get it "just" right. Maybe use an app on your phone (I think I used to use Wifi Analyzer) which can graphically show you the analysis of the different channels and which ones seem more congested than others in your area of the home.

    Freezing

Like Ryu said, it is NOT a good idea to use as internal storage. That can cause all sorts of issues, and the day your ssd or usb connection get's flaky, it will corrupt your whole box and be forced to do another factory reset. Format it as portable storage and it can be used for downloading movies, recordings, etc.. as long as you set the options accordingly int he PVR options section. And as a test, IF it is possible, if the freezing persists, try to run an ethernet cable from your router, to the box, to eliminate the possibility that it is some sort of interference with the wifi causing the freezing. Does your router only show a single SSID and handle band steering internally, or does it present 2 SSID (one for 2.4Ghz band, and one for 5Ghz band) where you manually can select the one you want ? Very often many routers can cause glitches in the way they try to do band steering and sometimes constantly try to renegotiate back and forth between both bands. You are better off, if possible to disable any automatic band steering and ideally be able to manually choose a 2.4 or 5Ghz SSID.
