BT-400 Remote IR code for Insignia Tv

Anyone know if this remote can control Insignia Tv off and on via IR if so do we have a code

yes, but still doesn't turn tv on or off no bluetooth on tv

Going to take a bit as there are lots of coeds for each tv but Insignia not listed

it's a single digit you enter

maybe it uses the same as one of the 10 listed

what about search mode?

Check out the remote manual..  At the bottom there is "brand search" option.

you can even scan the qr code with your phone to open the 2 manuals

Got the volume to work just not the power on/off after scanning.

Hi dishuser,

On my new Buzztv X5 Can I programme the BT400  for my sound system instead of the TV?

Not as far as I know.  The built in database is limited to some of the major TV manufacturer IR codes, as list in the manual (link a few posts up).  You can do a scan if you want to see if something is compatible.

Now, if things communicate via CEC (for volume and other minor options), that may be a YMMV on what it can or cannot control.    But that would not be via any IR and would not really require any programming of remote.

Finally got it to control tv power and volume just took about 15-20 tries of scanning but eventually got it working.
