'MARKET' app won't open.

I accidentally deleted the market app files and just looking for guidance on how to retrieve it.

When I attempt to open 'market' the message I receive is 'application is not installed'.

Tried tech support and they directed me here

You can probably just go to the web site, click the download link on the top, download the APK, put it on a USB stick and then install it on the box.  Or open browser on the box, and go to it directly.

That worked for having the app re-installed and I can download other apps with it but my 'MARKET' icon still tells me the app is not installed when I choose it (think I can manage either way).
