XRS 4900 Update OFFICIAL FIRMWARE + BUZZ 5 UPDATE- October-18th-2022

Still having problems with recording .

1. Can't record a show and watch a recording in the buzztv app the recording stops and fails in the buzztv app 

2. When recording in buzztv app and click on the home screen the recording stops and fails 

3. Having issues recording back to back record's one show and the other fails

What type of Server are you using

MAC, XC login or M3U?

you can use an app while recording but other than that it has to stay on the channel you're recording

MAC only supports one connection

So you can only watch what you're recording. And if you start a recording while watching it in the foreground/it's playing as it's recording

It will end if you exit the app. 

If you start a recording outside the app from scheduled recording. It will record in the background and you can use other apps while it's recording. 

 

Only XC Login and M3U servers support Multi Connection accounts. So these would allow you to record + watch another channel and exit the app if you started a recording as you were watching it.

How to delete the last
Since the last update. My xrs4900 turns off then starts on its own.
sometimes it doesn't start at all. I have to restart the device.

You cannot revert once an update is installed.

If you are having problem, have you tried a factory reset ?  Maybe some other software you had installed is misbehaving ?  I have 2 xrs4900 boxes and both work perfectly, even after the latest updates.

If you can't to a factory reset through the settings menu, you can always to a hard reset.

If anybody has an issue installing the latest 4900 Firmware
Mainly you're getting an error during installation

You can install it Manually via a USB Drive, through the Android Recovery Screen

I am on Current version: V20220923,  Current IPTV Version: 5.0.779

Is that the latest Update?

That is the latest Firmware version

For IPTV Version 5.0.781 was sent yesterday
To check for this update/receive it
When in Live TV
Press Menu
Go to Settings
Select Check Update

 

It will automatically download + install.

Vor dem Update hatte ich dieses Problem nie. Aber trotzdem danke

I'm using 5.0.783 and have no issues powering off/on with STB button

they're on but the tv it's hooked up doesn't support cec so it doesn't make a difference

earlier today my remote wasn't responding properly so I unpaired and paired it again and remote works fine

Hallo, kann mir jemand helfen. das Problem besteht immer noch mit meinem XRS4900.  Nach dem Update Version V20220923 habe die Fernbedienung gekoppelt und es funktioniert, wenn die Box eingeschaltet ist.  Aber wenn ich die Box ausschalte (mit der Fernbedienung), kann ich sie nicht wieder einschalten.  Die einzige, es einzuschalten, besteht darin, die Box vom Stromnetz Möglichkeit zu trennen und wieder einzustecken.

Dann bootet es und die Fernbedienung funktioniert weiterhin für alles andere.  Aber wenn ich es ausschalte, muss ich den Aus- und Einsteckzyklus wiederholen. 

Ich habe den Vorschlag von Tellerwäscher ausprobiert, Raset durchgeführt und das Image runtergeladen und über USB installiert. Hat aber nicht geholfen. Gibt es die Möglichkeit irgendwie das Problem zu lösen. Ich verzweifle, bitte helfen sie mir.
