USB-C Connection.

Hi,

I’m a newbie to BuzzTV boxes, I have just bought the xrs4900 and am very impressed with it so far. One question I have is regarding the usb-c connection on the back of the box. It says it is for data but any drive or ssd I connect is not recognised. Should it be able to read/write to a drive connected to that port or am I completely off track with what the connection is for. I have an ssd connected in the compartment and that is working fine it’s just the usb-c connection that I am unable to get anything working on.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

Its to be used with a PC

It allows you to grab any data that is on the Hard Drive you have installed on the box.

OK thanks, so I can’t connect an external hard drive then? That’s a shame I thought that’s what the connection was for. No worries it’s still a great box.
