Ser ver doesn't recognize device

My box kept running updates, and then message told me to reboot. Now the server isn't recognizing the device. The server company has re-initiated my subscription. Any ideas?

which box? sometimes macs have to be reset at server end 

Not usually a box issue

Your box might be out of Internal Memory if it keeps getting updates, because it cannot install the update due to not enough internal memory.

Check the available storage on your box and free up some memory.
