Dave J Posted June 3, 2022 Posted June 3, 2022 On my X5 I've locked a number of redundant live TV channels, and then set locked channels as hidden in categories, however they still appear in the guide. Any thoughts? Quote

Dave J Posted June 8, 2022 Author Posted June 8, 2022 I received the .721 update on the 4500, and the locked channels are still visible in the guide when the locked category is set to hidden. Quote

allaboutbuzz Posted June 8, 2022 Posted June 8, 2022 It was fixed The locked category can be hidden now But the channels you locked are apart of different categories still That is how it works. The lock channel feature is exactly that, locking the channel so that when you want to access it. It asks you for the password to unlock it. Quote

Also The hide categories feature only hides the categories It doesn't hide the channels Say you hide Sports, those channels will still appear in the All channel list. No one has brought up hiding locked channels category to us before So we fixed that, but I don't think its going to work the way you want it to. 1 Quote
