MrEazmo Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Buzz after I updated my Power station 6 when it rebooted my “My channels” did not reappear although I still had favorites selected. All of my liveTV stations in the EPG will not appear. I love using the Buzz 6 app to watch tv and I use an M3U to connect. On my U5 I don’t have this issue. Please if you can lead in the right direction. If you need further information let me know. Quote
Emporium Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Please clarify.. You state: Quote “My channels” did not reappear although I still had favorites selected. So if you press "OK" for a channel list, do you have ANYTHING ? Any categories, channels, etc.. ? And you say ["still" had favourites], I don't get the point ? You still see favourites ? Quote All of my liveTV stations in the EPG will not appear. So does EPG have the channels listed and no EPG info ? Or is the EPG completely blank, ie: not even channels listed on the left. Just as a test, did you try creating a "new server" name it whatever you want, and use the exact same info M3U/EPG xml URLs ? Does the server support XC ? 2 Quote
MrEazmo Posted 9 hours ago Author Posted 9 hours ago Firmware Version: V20250515, Current IPTV version: 1.0.173 When I go to channels list there is a group that says “favorite” and my starred channels are there. EPG has the channels name, but in the information area it reads “No Information Available Server connection does not support XC. I will try using the same information but with a different name. Quote
Emporium Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago You say your U5 does not have this issue. But truth is, the U5 could also have stuff in the cache. To ensure it is not server, try going into menu and select "Refresh". Then got into Menu->setting->configuration and select "Clear EPG". Then see if it repopulates with any info. When you say EPG has the channel name, is it for ALL your channels listed or still just favorites ? And you sure server does not support XC ? Have you tried, or just taking resellers word for it ? When you have something like this (may vary slightly on options) http://myserver.xyz:2080/get.php?username=MyUserName&password=MyPassWord&type=m3u&output=ts Try creating an XC server with whatever name you want. Server: http://myserver.xyz:2080 User: MyUserName Passwword: MyPassWord This is just an example above, obviously use your server entries/credentials. Quote
MrEazmo Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Did clear the EPG on the U5 and the information still returned. Tried the advice on the XC and came up with an error 500 Quote
MrEazmo Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Channels listed are for all channels names just t no program information. Quote
Emporium Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago (edited) Did you try creating another server entry with same m3u link to see if it helps ? No typo (extra space or something in the URL - sometimes android keyboards adds space automatically after a "."). Was it working fine before the update on the P6 ? If you use the BuzzTV 5 app which is also on the P6, does it behave the same way, or does it work ? PS: Note that the EPG/Guide button on the remote, is mapped, and will always bring up the BuzzTV 6 EPG, so if you are in BuzzTV 5, please use the Menu button, and select EPG from the menu to check.
