allinghj Posted Wednesday at 03:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:01 PM When I turn off my TV using my TV remote, it changes the channel on my STB. Even when I turn off my TV using the button on the TV, it changes the channel on my STB. This being the case, I cant start a recording and go to bed because I know shutting off my TV will stop the recording and change the channel on my STB. The only workaround that I've found, and it's not a good one, is to leave my TV on all night. Does anyone know a better workaround? Quote
dishuser Posted Wednesday at 03:12 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:12 PM use the buzztv remote to contol the tv or turn on cec 2 Quote
allinghj Posted Thursday at 02:27 PM Author Posted Thursday at 02:27 PM I just tried that but to no avail. When I turn off the TV with the Buzz remote, the stb channel still gets changed to channel 8 (BBC 4). I think it may be something Buzz needs to address in a future update. Until then I will have to leave my TV on all night. Quote

We use the NEC Protocol for IR Codes, so do many other devices like LG Sometimes they overlap between other devices This isn't something we can fix unfortunately Quote
