Emporium Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM Posted Tuesday at 01:35 AM OK. Got it, and installed. Turned off the TMDB in order to test. Using w*** server, XC API connection, VOD shows posters/thumbnails and titles, but no movie summary/plot as expected. However Under TV Series, I see all the poster/thumbnails, and I still see the summary/plot for the series overall, but no detailed info for each episode (no thumbnail or summary for each individual episode). Question is, is it normal that there is summary for the top level series entry ? Is that included possibly from the server (like an epg) ? Quote

So we added this feature as some customers in Europe say TMDB was giving the wrong info and the servers they use gave the correct one instead. Buzz 5 has the same feature. We have no control over what Metadata a server provides, is why we use TMDB instead as it fills in 90% of everything nicely and accurately We recommend keeping TMDB turned on 1 Quote

I would have thought that was from TMDB also. Or maybe some where stuck in some cache. So for customers in Europe, they can turn it off, but do they then have any way of using a different provider if they do ? I assume there would be some development needed to allow the use of a different metadata provider to get the rights and API to use it. Unless there is something in the way XC Api works to allow the server to provide that metadata. On BuzzTV 5, I've only had it provide wrong info for one movie that I can ever remember. Nothing is perfect, but good enough for me. Oh well, more options then more flexibility I guess Thanks Quote
