Gdub Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Just curious how VPN setup works in the L1 Linux player. Do you input your VPN login info in settings or is there a way to install a VPN app or? On my BuzzTV the Classic I simply installed my VPN provider’s app from the Google Play store. Is it more of a manual process on the L1? Thanks Quote
dishuser Posted March 18 Posted March 18 load your vpn config file onto a stick select the config and enter your credentials then select a server location and connect I spent more time editing the config file than setting it up on the box....lol 3 Quote
AllBlaxx Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I don't seem to be able to crack this. Loaded the config file on to a stick to import on the box, enter my credentials and it just goes back to the VPN Connections screen. If I turn off "Use Credentials" and try to connect, I get an error message that says Not connected to VPN. Quote
dishuser Posted May 19 Posted May 19 you don't load the whole config at once you load a server location one at a time I spent more time editing config than loading it Quote
Emporium Posted May 19 Posted May 19 I don't know if it has been fixed, but there was a UI issue, hat even if you load config, sometimes it doesn't show until after a reboot. I had played with 4 or 5 server config files and I had issue with them. After reboot, all the configs showed up and the ones that didn't work before, ended up working. I did have 2 or 3 configs that didn't and I need to run more tests (and provide the details), but after importing configs, try a reboot (either way, reboot on this box is like 10 seconds ) Quote
