Maestro701 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hey guys, rolled over on the remote last night and the screen to pair remote came up. Before I knew it it had disappeared and I noticed the remote is not paired. I tried to pair it but it's not happening. The device sees it and I click to pair but nothing happens. Quote
Emporium Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Assuming you selected Pair new device, and then put the remote into pairing mode (pressing OK and VOL- for 3 seconds till light starts flashing) ? Manual for BT-250 is here, and pairing is Step 7. https://buzztv.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Classic_manual-v1_MOBILE.pdf Try power cycling the machine ? And/or turning BT off then on again ? 3 Quote

Maestro701 Posted January 29 Author Posted January 29 Interesting to find out what "shortcut" I might have pressed to unpair the remote. Maybe it's the same one that pairs it. Won't be home until a few hours but if one of you guys can try it would be appreciated. Quote

OK this may not be even close But what I think happened is when you sat on the remote you hit a bunch of buttons and confused it or the stb and it just took abit for it to recover 1 Quote

All this time I never even realized long press of info button would delete a paired remote I just tried it on my X5.. I have by BT400 paired to it, and a BT250. Long press info once on my bt250, and it deleted the bt400 (probably since it was at the bottom of the list and/or added last). Long press a second time and it deletes the BT250. I have probably done that a few times without realizing it, since the info button is just under the "last channel" button which I often long press Thnx 2 Quote
