Jeff Drinan Posted November 23 Posted November 23 I have a streaming service that requires that I down load an "ASP" program file to add my subscription details and to function. I have a Buzztv XRS4500 but I do can not seem to able to get to the right place to add this ASP program. I am not computer literate, so perhaps I am making errors - any help will be appreciated. Emporium Posted November 24 Posted November 24 And it will be a much better exprience on BuzzTV 5 that if you use the IPTV smarters. I assume they will give you a portal URL, a username and a password ? Create a Server on BuzzTV 5, using the XC API Login option, and put the URL, name and password in there. IT will be so much better. 3 Quote
Jeff Drinan Posted November 24 Author Posted November 24 Hi, I made a mistake in my original statement - I used - "ASP" - in my heading which was incorrect. It should have read - "APK". I do not know if this alters the replies that I have received. Sorry for the error. Quote

Everyone understood, it was an APK, no worries But like we said, there should be no reason to use that crappy app. If you have a BuzzTV box, the integrated BuzzTV 5 software is miles better than whatever the APK can offer. Better interface, less issues, and a lot quicker. And like it has already been mentioned, if it works with "Smarters aok", it's work perfectly with the buzztv 5 integrated software. If you are provided a portal URL, username and password, that is all you need to setup the BuzzTV 5 software. Click on "server" button on your remote, select "XC API Login", "add new", and then enter the info they provide you in the fields that are there, and it should work. Quote
dishuser Posted November 24 Posted November 24 if they don't give the portal url run smarters once to get it you'll find it in router logs 1 Quote
