BUG #1 through #4 all fixed.   Tested them and work as expected.  They can all be closed. Thank you.

However found one more to add to the back of the queue 🙂  Not sure if it is by design, but I find it strange.

Obviously not all features are implemented yet.  But for now, there is no option for group numbering (which renumbers all channels in a group starting at "1").  So using w*** we have a little over 11000 channels and all numbers from 1 all the way up to 11000+.  But if I am in a specific category (except for ALL CHANNELS), and a key in a channel number that happens to be in another category (ex: 3027 which is Adult swim: Rick & Morty in my case), it will ignore it and not switch.   If I key in a channel number that is in my category, it will change to that channel.

Obviously Buzz is free to code it however they prefer, but I would think that, if group numbering is off (assuming it is eventually added), then entering a channel number on the remote, would first check if it is in your current category (to ensure favorite categories are respected), and if it is in the category you are in, then it should just tune into that channel (no need to change category).  However, if it is NOT in your category, it should switch to the category it is found in, and switch to that channel.

And super low priority was my previous Feature request 1: get the PADLOCK  symbol preceding the category name for locked categories in the channel list and the "organize favorites" list ?

Thanks again.

V1.0.39 Sent on the weekend to testers should fix up the Entering of a channel # from a different category
However I did find 2 small bugs with it on the channel that is highlighted after entering it on a few menus. So we will fix that.  Try it out and let me know

Group channel numbering we will add to the configuration menu later on.

I noticed that, but I did not have a chance to test earlier.

I just did a quick test and seems to work as expected.  I did encounter the highlighting issue for an instance, but not sure how I did it, but since you already know about it, I won't try to get any more details on it for now.  But right now, it works pretty well.

Noticed some other issues with scrolling within category list and epg, and PIN entry, but I will post those in the wishlist 🙂

Thanks again.

I get very dark spots on my p6. It happens whenever it shows something black like a shirt or for instances when I'm watching vod when the movie is in a dark scene it should not be very black. I currenty have it connected to a lg uq8000 any workarounds for this to solve? Thanks very much

This sounds like an LG problem honestly.  I used to have an older LG and this is one of the reasons I got rid of it.  In LG's effort to give you deeper blacks, when the total luminosity of the scene is below a certain level, it would decrease the backlighting to the point that it was too dark.  It was very apparent when credits would go by at the end of a movie.  Few credits, it was super black and could barely see the credits.  A few more credits on the same screen and then it would be more of a charcoal black, but the white was more vivid.   This was irrelevant on whether I was using a buzz box, my Mii box or even the integrated tuner using an OTA antenna.    The only way to overcome it in my situation was to put the TV in store DEMO mode which was really annoying and far from ideal.  I was glad when it failed, and did not feal bad replacing it.

Have you tried adjusting the setting and playing around with the contrast/brightness/saturation settings on the Powerstation ?  Maybe you can bring it up just enough to avoid the TV from trying to darken it more.

Settings->Device Preferences->Display and Sound->Advanced Display settings->HDMI->Color Settings.

I did use the settings but do i have to adjust the brightness?

On my LG, that was the only way.  It is far from ideal, but if the total luminosity of a scene drops below a certain point many LG will dim the backlight to get a "true" black.  I found it REALLY annoying, and I lived with it for far too long.  I even contacted them asking if there was a way to get a firmware update which would allow to disable that dumb feature, and I was told I was out of luck.  I have temporarily switched to an old Sharp Aquos and do not experience that issue.

So unfortunately it is a trial an error.   See if there is any options maybe on your TV (since it is newer than what I had), to disable this dynamic behavior.  Often features like "Energy Saving" or "Dynamic contrasts" or some other auto features under HDR settings need to be disabled/enabled.  It is all about trial an error and see what you prefer.

I'll let other make that recommendation.  For now I have switched to an old Sharp Aquos I had, since I am waiting to redo my basement this summer before picking up something new.
