Nothing has been announced.  Not even for support for the Series 5 boxes (which I suspect Series 5 will eventually be supported for the most part).

Keep in mind that the 4900 will be 2 generations behind once the power station is released, and running on Android 9 (on series 4 boxes), vs Android 11 (on the Series 5 boxes), vs Android 13 on the newer boxes.   And there was a migration from regular Android, to AndroidTV flavour also.

I would love it also (since I have 2 xrs4900 boxes), but I would not hold it against them if BuzzTV 5 is the last supported version on the 4900.

Which "for now", it means only 2024+ models 🙂   Since all 2023 models are AndroidTV 11 for now.

for now?

there's only been one model that has gotten a change in OS

and it actually went from 7.1 to 6.0

Doesn't mean it is not possible.  Unlikely, but not impossible.

Buzz may surprise us 🙂
