Classic freezing after a few hours,,,

Hi everyone, hope all is well.

I have 2 Classics in the same house, same internet provider, power conditioned, same server, and 1 is freezing after a few hours of being ON. 

If it is unplugged for a few minutes, and restarted, it is fine for a few hours, then it freezes again. 

Any ideas?

Swap boxes, see if issue follows the box

Trying power supplies right now.

Also, the remote is unresponsive when it freezes.

Okay, swapped power supplies, same problem. 

Going to try swapping the box locations, might be HDMI cable related? It's on a custom built media center.

Does it get any airflow in the media center ?  I have a few boxes on my desk, and if I forget and put something on top of them they can get pretty warm.  OK, mine are not in any enclosed area, so they don't "overheat", but if they were in an enclosed area with little airflow, I am pretty sure some of them "could" get hotter than what they "should" be.

Okay, both boxes have adequate air flow, not Hot.

Switched installations, same box, same freezing, so not HDMI, Power supply, Internet provider, or server,,,

Will swap it out, and bring it to Buzz next week.

No, what is the procedure for that?

I assume all server info, and settings,  will be erased, correct?

Yes all will be erased...  But for testing I guess you can just recreate one server for now.  Returning it anyhow, so not much to lose

Hi everyone, the Hard Start seems to have fixed the Freezing problem. Thank you everyone for the support.

Side note: the server info did have to be reloaded. Fully expecting that.
