I only use cec with my 5 series devices since remote is very limited compared to the bt-200 I'm considering using bubble wrap for it...lol

with cec on it only takes one push to shut down box and tv next power up requires both power buttons as usual if cec was turned off I've never seen force max volume what steps to get to that?

if you set up learn for tv functions cec worx correctly of course you need to press red power button to turn tv back on you set up the remote to be that way that's not a bug

I posted that I'm using the latest software version and light stays blue when I press power button when I press power again it goes to live tv but I get a popup for my file explorer app I have 7 days of guide and I had to change my hdmi control settings on tv because pressing suspend was turning my tv off which doesn't happen in shutdown

I set mine to suspend and blue light stays on version 5.0.905 was the same with version 5.0.901

use vlc

don't use suspend in powerkey definition

then you didn't set it to external it's probably still on backup

select external then after pressing play select what video player you want to use

no need to install vlc it comes preloaded

it's the same for every remote long press brings up last channel history

this is the part I find funny why would anyone wait 15 months if having issues?
