try selecting channel renumbering to see if it helps because my 4900 stays in same category I was in

so I tried twice using scheduled recording one was 2½ hours and only 55 minutes recorded other was 2¼ hours and only 51 minutes recorded definately a bug in software 5.0.893

you can use a file explorer app and transfer your current apps for the rest go to livetv/menu/settings/configuration/app settings/backup & restore

I also use channel renumbering

put your apps on a drive all the rest can be done doing a backup to a drive

scheduled or on the fly?

record same program with both apps at same time and see what happens

mine stays in favourites in both examples

source can be changed in the blink of an eye

if what you're recording freezes or changes source recording will fail

sounds right to me if you look at the bottom of the screen it tells you the size

do you have a hard drive in the bottom?

did you check what storage location is set to?

I just use sport mode and auto for all other settings

they also have the hd5 I asked about tv and I got everything so I am to assume that included tv? I didn't ask about everything...I asked about tv example...I have an issue so ask me questions while I be vague with answers and then bitch I didn't get help let's be children and play 20 questions I have no issues whether force volume is on or off and never have so good luck with your problem

my 4900 I had to use backup and my x5 I used primary on a couple of services both different models,firmware and software versions apples to oranges
