I posted that I'm using the latest software version and light stays blue when I press power button when I press power again it goes to live tv but I get a popup for my file explorer app I have 7 days of guide and I had to change my hdmi control settings on tv because pressing suspend was turning my tv off which doesn't happen in shutdown

I set mine to suspend and blue light stays on version 5.0.905 was the same with version 5.0.901

use vlc

don't use suspend in powerkey definition

then you didn't set it to external it's probably still on backup

select external then after pressing play select what video player you want to use

no need to install vlc it comes preloaded

far from stoopid would be doing a google search to find out buzztv constantly has upgrades/updates to fix user's issues because they listen and respond I fixed my x5 myself using my sd 32gb from outdoor camera last year in minutes and card was back in camera and formatted by camera in seconds if you buy a product it's up to you to check info on it there's no mailing list

like I said thumbnail is created at end of recording if a message pops up showing that means recording was stopped or interrupted my son is using my u5 and has no problems recording 1-2-3 hour movies to ssd
