Thank you for the quick responses.

Is there a reason that the Powerstation can’t load the android version of Apple Music? I was even unable to sideload, system just said incompatible with my device. Is this a licensing issue or something else that might be resolved in the future. of course if anyone is successfully running apple music app on the P6 I am all ears on how to do it. thanks
  3. Bummer but switching from hdmi to decode didn’t have any apparent effect. Audio still drops out during button press when in 4k mode. (Easy fix is not to press buttons while watching 4k, lol)
  4. Makes sense. Sorry but where would I find the decode switch? Nevermind, found it. thanks
  5. I can duplicate what Richard says but only when I am streaming 4k video. If I drop down to FHD or lower the audio drop outs go away. i am running a 7.1 system through a Trinnov Altitude16

    BT500

Is there any way currently to extend the time that the backlight is on? Is this an option that could potentially be added to the smart remote app? I must be slow because by the time I press a key, get oriented where the key I want to press is, the backlight usually turns off and I am alone in the dark again, lol.

Yes, fresh batteries resolved the issue. I guess I am just shocked that starting at 50% batt life caused such a dramatic performance decline…or maybe just bad batteries. BT500 is back to it’s normal snappiness.

    BT500

After the latest firmware update (both PS6 and remote) my BT500 seems to seriously drag… as in push right arrow and it goes right , push it again and it sits/pauses/buffers, etc. this has coincided with the battery level dropping below 50% due to usage (currently at 28%). Are there any reports of the BT500 becoming erratic when battery levels get below a certain percentage? Is there a setting that I maybe inadvertently changed? Just scratching my head over the sudden/dramatic sluggishness. Thanks
  9. Got it! User error so I thank you guys for your patience.
  10. current Bt500 software is V06 and P6 software/firmware is V20250515.
  11. Not that I am disputing anything you said but are you guys going from memory or did you just check? Absolutely doesn’t disappear when I push it again… and the occasional times it seems to disappear, it reappears as soon as another button is pressed. really frustrating…..especially if user error and I am actually doing something wrong…
  12. I have a question about the pointer (mouse mode) on the BT-500 remote. pushing the pointer brings up the curser….after 15 secs of no activity the pointer goes away. pushing the pointer button again while pointer is on screen resets the 15 sec timeout. 15 seconds (while awaiting the next button push) seems like an eternity. is there a way (button push?) to immediately exit pointer mode? Thanks
  13. I’ve had P6L 256 for about 2 months. I have disconnected all my streamers (cube/3rd gen, Onn 4k pro, several fire sticks) except for my Roku Ultra which I use for Fandango (android ver sucks) and Netflix. The Powerstation is faster, smoother, and has minimal/no buffering. Each software/firmware has improved the systen and running 64 bit with Kodi and others is a dream.
  14. OK, thank you Emporium. the manual update question was due to allaboutbuzz mentioning above that if the update didn’t automatically popup you could do a manual update.
