So in the case where the user is using a USB (Kingston USB3) for storage yet the recording stop at about 1:50 second or so give or take. Anyone seen an issue like that and have a solution?

I've been using Windscribe, works very well and has a nice big interface. Make sure to download windscribe-tv.apk it's the Android TV version. If you get the phone version you won't like the interface. They offer free of 10GB per month, but look at the paid version. I am not affiliated with them in anyway.

The thing that is odd here is for a time they all recorded well. The SD cards are high quality as for the USB. I just tried recording golden girls and it quite at 2:28. I am going to try a series to see if it's any different. I wonder if the developers could do a few tests? My XC login has 6 connections.

Both boxes are at Jan 13 update, it seems to me recording was fine at first but started acting up I think in March like the beginning of the month? The E5 has a 250GB SD card , the B5 recording was to internal memory. My buddy is using a B5 recording to USB. I can't help but think this has something to do with a guide/date issue. I just switched the box to get guide from server (E5). I am trying another recording now. Also should be noted the recordings that fail they are usually just under two minutes, recording from live TV. Using an XCI login.

So what would cause one user to freeze but not the other? Changing from automatic to the one seemed to fix it. I actually told them to switch to HLS now. Thanks for edit.

So my neighbour was having video issue with freezing on live TV (*****). This is only happening on certain TV brands, one being Sony the other LG both smart. All of his other neighbour with different brand are fine. We tried switching video format in configuration from Automatic to TS and it works well now. Question is should I tell him to run HLS or TS. I am wondering if it's certain TV's don't work well with the Automatic feature?

No the SD slot is being used because it doesn't not stick out the side and they are $10 for 128GB I know the 128 works in the E5 so I thought it would in the B5 too. I had a look at the small sticks so that's an option too.

Is there a size restriction on the external SD slot memory size you can use on the B5. I could get a 64GB to work but not a 128GB. Should it take one that size 128 and bigger or is it maybe the card itself. Also is there a general guide to adding storage? I look around (read) in the mean time
