No it doesn’t. I get “Cannot load portal:not supported “. I really appreciate all the help. I can stream if I enter the info through the m3u portal but as I said no epg. I have some epg urls that work partially, that’s why I would like to add more than one source epg. But I will try to see which one will load the most channels. Thanks again to all who answered me.

As per the provider website they do not support Xtream code log in. The m3u format is as follows: myserver.xyz/ap/list/username/password/m3u8/livetv epg url: https://epg.myserver.xyz/utc.xml.gz

I have tried that. Maybe I’m not inputting it correctly. I get a cannot load portal. When I put the m3u playlist in, should I include my username and password or just put those under the lines for that?

My IPTV provides an m3u url and an epg url. The epg url is currently not working on any video players including buzztv5. Is there a way I can use the server settings I currently use and add different epg urls to it.?There is only one line to put in an epg url (which says optional and I don’t know why you would leave that line blank). Does that mean I have to add the same m3u playlist and pick all my favorite settings and channels all over again just to try a new epg? I believe more than one epg source is needed for the favorite channels on my playlist. I hope I have explained this so someone can make sense of it.

Wow that sounds too high tech for me! I do only have the 2 URLs from my provider so I guess I don’t need to do anything with that. Although the URL for EPG is currently not working. Thank you so much for all your help EM and DU. -

Yes okay I did know that. It just seems to only take a second to backup. I expect it to take a little longer. Also do you know the answer to my last question about the choose file in the picture. -

There was nothing saved on last usb drive I used. I now attached a memory card for backup. I know it’s saving some of my apps. But where can I see that the server settings were backed up? I’m assuming that means log in and favorite channels etc. I also want to know how to use the choose file on m3u playlist page (see pic). When I click in it I see my SD card but when I click on it and go back to portal, it still says no file selected. And finally what is Login type under the choose file (in pic)? Thanks for putting up with my ignorance. It’s hard to find a whole tutorial on this box. I have watched Troypoint’s. -

So after a factory reset it finally updated and I know dishuser said to restore app settings. I tried to do that but it only sees internal storage. When I go to storage it shows usb there but it only lets me set up the usb so I would have to format it and lose backup. -

As you suggested, I did clear the cache and data before. I have saved the latest setup I have to my usb drive. So I guess I will have to do a reset as you suggest. Bummer that I have to reinstall my 3rd party apps but I get it. This may be a dumb question but do I keep the usb drive plugged into the buzz tv while doing the reset? -

Hello. When I did all you said Emporium (thanks for you quick response). It starts to update but the line on bottom of screen does not completely download, but it says it updated. When I check it’s still same S/W version. -

I have a Buzztv Classic 5. Last update was 2/24. It’s OS version 11. Firmware version V20240202. IPTV version 5.0.913. Why don’t I have a June update yet? -
You Hi Badwine. I ended up putting a ticket in to support. They said I had some kind of Beta FW that somehow got downloaded as an update. I factory reset and still did not work. So I had to send it in support. They worked on it and sent it back in a few days. It’s been working fine with recording ever since. Hope this helps if not you should contact support.

Hi all, I am new to buzz tv so I have lots of questions. The main one is I used to be able to record fairly dependably with a few glitches. But now after update I cannot record at all. I have 5 connections, am wired thru Ethernet. I cannot do n the spot or scheduled recordings. On the recordings page I see the thumbnail with the time: 23:59:59 on every recording I tried. When I click on it it says stream is not available. I do not have catch up. Can anyone help me troubleshoot?
