What is a good external video player to install for VOD & TV Series?   On TV Series, same show seasons, some season series play & some same show seasons do not play. Tried Primary & Backup players, (VLC).

Will installing a Screen Recorder apk app work on Buzz boxes?

I don't see a General Questions category in stbtalk to post this in. Is there one?

Can Buzz ever fix this problem, maybe by adding supported codecs.

Problem is mainly with recorded playback. This problem has been going on for years.

I've had every box made since the BuzzTV XR4000, 3 different ISP's, VPN or No VPN & all had this problem.

Just bought 2 new BuzzTv X5 SS, same problem on playback, Media format is not supported

Video freezes but audio continues. Changing to another channel then back fixes the issue, but then it happens again every few minutes.
Also sometimes Video OK but the audio stops. Happens on both Primary & Backup Players. Tried Reboot, did not help. Real Time Streaming ON.

Appreciate your help, but didn't solve it. Here are pics of the screens that are shown with, home screen/settings/buzztv utilities

None of these 4 options work for Default Home Screen. BuzzTV Classic, BuzzTV , BuzzTV Media Player 2, BuzzTV Modern.

Requesting Info.  Is there anyway to get back the Default Home Screen without doing a Factory Reset?

Please give instructions on how to do it.

It shows: BuzzTV Classic,  BuzzTV Media Player,  BuzzTV Media Player 2, 
BuzzTV Modem. but no option for the Factory BuzzTV Home Screen
