When I set a reminder or record on a channel say sports then my guide changes to the sports category. I reset to all and close it reopen the guide and it is set to sports again until the reminder or recording is done. Is there a way to keep the guide on all?

I still miss the PIP on the home screen it doesn't seem like an upgrade to me with the newer android version but like I said I am not a techie?

I forgot it had a dongle it was still plugged in to my 4500 I read the manual, yes it is working air mouse and keyboard.

Thanks for the reply's much appreciated. I have the BT-100 from my XR4500 that pairs and seems to works this box It is a nicer remote to use. I also have a ARQ100-Remote can this be used with IR on this box?

I reprogrammed the Harmony to use the box volume and it works great even the mute button is working thanks again it is working with the BT-400 as well. I wonder why the mute button was removed on the 400 remote?

Oh my god thank you so much the volume is working. I still have my TV volume off but the remote is controlling the box volume even in KODI. I love my new box, the remote not so much.

The extra button I can deal with the D pad or what ever it is called is my problem my thumb covers the whole pad I have to use my thumbnail and look what I'm pressing to use it and it looks the same size on the BT200. The BT-500 looks like it has a bigger pad? I only need it for the home button right now but if my Harmony finally dies knock on wood it would make it easier to deal with the so called android updates.

I have been using a BuzzTV XR4500 and love it, I grabbed a BuzzTV X5 128 AX-C for more internal space. The box is nice, it's fast and has BUZZTV 5 that has always worked great for me, adding Kodi with all my locale libraries was a breeze and went much faster than the on old box and I still have has loads of space for all the artwork or anything I want. But The BT-400 remote is too small (my 9 year old granddaughter likes it lol) it has no mute or stop button and I can only control the TV volume. I don't think I have used the volume on my TV more than a couple times since I bought it. Thankfully I have a Harmony Companion I am using to control the box and I switched the Harmony to control my AV receiver volume instead of the box volume as with the XR4500 android 9. I thought all android devices have volume built in it seems like a step backwards with the newer android to me? Oh ya and no PIP on the home page anymore again seems like a step backwards with the newer android to me but I am not a techie? I wonder will the BT-500 work with this box it looks like a better option.

I have a BuzzTV XR4500 and on my home screen I have a video preview at the top right of the playing video. I just got my friend to buy a buzz box he decided on the X5 c 128 how do I get the video preview window to show on the home screen with this box I don't remember how I did this on my box.

I have a BuzzTV XR4500 and I only use it for IPTV and Kodi for local network files. Wow I could not spend $499 for an upgrade?

I use a Logitech Harmony Companion (hub) with my BuzzTV XR4500 it works well. I only use the original remote for the home button.

I have set recordings for two daily shows Monday to Friday by pushing the record button while the show is on and editing the days and times. My sever runs a bit long on shows about three minutes and I am missing the end of the shows. Is there a way to edit these scheduled recording times or to remove and redo these daily scheduled recordings? I have an XR4500 running BuzzTV 5. Any help would be appreciated.

I had this problem with BuzzTV 4 if I started the recording on a show that already started. If i scheduled a full recording I could fast forward. Not sure if this is true with BuzzTV 5 I have only done scheduled recordings and they are working as expected.

It's too bad my XR4500 is so darn reliable or I'd be buying one of those Android 11 boxes . LOL

Never knew about the warranty problems. I'm not pushing Wintronics I am local to the Mississauga store and bought a lot of computer components back in the day but never had to use a warranty lucky I guess. Bought my first MAG box and a Formuler Z7+ off them both are still working. I realize the Classic is not the replacement for the 4900 but thought I could get him looking at the newer models at that price.

Canadian WintronicComputers have it but $249 I have bought from them many times. Go here canada.buzztvglobal.com and take a look at all the newer models running android 11. I'm no expert but the classic with the 2 good remotes for $189 looks tempting.

I finally got around to doing this today. From Version 4.0.530 2022-07-12 - To Version 5.0.766 2022-09-19 When I got into BuzzTV 5 all of my information was there my Gmail the last time I used apps on BuzzTV 4 it started downloading my apps from Gplay. I was under the impression I would be working on a clean install. I backup to a USB drive and left it in when I updated could that be it? On the home screen if I go to settings and push anything there it goes to black screen and asks if I want to close it or wait, maybe something conflicting from my BuzzTV 4 Install? I can push on live TV and it asked me to setup sever which I could not get from the settings button and TV is working. Also I can pick VOD, TV Series and PVR but none of the other apps/icons on the home screen, I get the crash again . Should I do a reset or hard reset? Do I still need to PM my mac to get updates? Any help would be appreciated.
