I tried a few things with cec but nothing seems to work . i figured out that if i am hard wired with it the light work properly but if i use wify the light does not go red when i turn unit off . ??

Sorry i mean the blue light stays on . CEC are , cec switch ;off ,one key play ; off, device auto power off ; on , auto change language ; off.

im talking about the light on the front of the box ,and im using wifi

Not sure why but my 4500 works well and still does , the only difference is when i power down the unit the green light stays on . It does not turn red anymore . It does power down and is on stanby ,but the light does not turn red anymore . I tried a few things but to no avail. any help appricited , thanks .

Hello, I've been trying to upgrade my friends XR 4500 to buzz 5 but it keeps saying no beta file found .He just received it about 2 weeks ago . It has the newest buzz 4 file . I've entered 2015 several times and it keeps saying no beta file found . I believe I'm supposed to send the mac address and serial # somewhere to get it registered of sorts , but not sure where . Any help, thanks . I've read to send it to buzztv.com is this right ?

Ok , so i did a reset and started from scratch. All good everything working . thanks for the help. It was the stick , tricky little thing.

So im talking with provider told him looks like problem is at his end , hes looking into it . Can i still do a reset on stick or is that not a good idea. Ive had the stick for like 5 moths . Im going to wait to see what he says . i have a box working now with different provider , tried that info on the stick and it says wrong password . So im wondering if its the stick.

hmmm ,says browser working, somthing else working, and host error.

i have tried everything , checked url several times , rebooted stick rebooted modem ,just keep getting same error . I spoke with provider , he says all is good at his end also. Now he is saying to do a software reset because buzz sticks are buggy. I am using Buzz 5 beta . Can i do a reset or is that a bad idea. thanks in advance

I'm not much of a tech guy, but i don't think i can download all of McAfee on to this stick so i can use the vpn that came with it , can i?

Can you explain how i can install a VPN on a Buzz stick. Is there a how to . If it is possible what is the best VPN for it . Thanks in advance .
