problem stop PVR recording

When i want on my remote control with (1 buttom, red dot) recording  the PVR  XRS 4500 starts with recording ....when i want stop the with recording ( push square buttom) on remoet control  happens nothing .how i can stop the recording? ( not cancel ...but stop the recording)
