I have 2 connections on the same line, is there a way to watching one channel and record a different channel? 

If a set a recording up from the EPG, it automatically switches to that channel, if I then change channels it stops recording. 

Is there a particular way to set it up? 

I can watch 2 channels at the same time with xciptv so it seems like recording should work.
